Lamborghini and the luxurious super sports cars

A series of new events will begin for Automobili Lamborghini and the luxurious super sports cars: the new will show the heir of the unforgettable Gallardo and it will also give a different definition of what really super sports car are. Having a remarkable design, innovative technology built in, spectacular dynamics, as well as a remarkable quality, this car shows the super sports car in a different way. The Huracán mixes the outstanding performance with the simplicity of driving a luxurious and sports car. With the new Huracán, Lamborghini will take another step into the future, showing another legendary car. Its debut will be at the 2014th Geneva Motor Show.

The ancestor of the Huracán was the Lamborghini Gallardo with more than 14,000 produced models, and it is considered to be the most successful Lamborghini ever and which made the brand Lamborghini even more famous. However, while designing the Huracán, the designers paid attention to every detail and it got its name like any other Lamborghini model- from the bullfighting world. The fighting bull Huracán of the breed called Spanish Conte de la Patilla had strong instincts for attack and a noticeable courage. After 1879, he became a fighting bulls’ legend.

The new Huracán is improved and upgraded, so it shouldn’t be compared to the Gallardo. It has a precise technology and a craftsmanship on a highest level, which, together create a brave design with crisp edges, monumental and sculpted volumes and fixed surfaces. The Huracán’s silhouette seems like the designers wanted to create a car whose silhouette is made from one line that unites the front and the rear of the car.

The Huracán has the spirit of Lamborghini during the night as well. Its central headlamps have full LED illumination, and its other lights also use state-of-the-art LED technology as a regular characteristic.

Moreover, the Huracán has an interesting interior as well. The modern cockpit, the 12.3 inch full-color TFT instrument panel that passes all the information of the car to the driver, from rev counter to piloting maps and infotainment functions, all these features can be adjusted by the driver. All of the interior is decorated with fine Nappa leather and Alcantara, available in few colour combinations so, the driver can choose among them. The brilliant craftsmanship offers an unforgettable experience while driving the car.

The new hybrid chassis of the Huracán combines the systematic lightweight design with the considerable knowledge in carbon fiber of Automobili Lamborghini. The result is- a structure with carbon and aluminum elements and race-car preciseness with great stiffness. In its improved direct fuel injection system IDS, the direct and indirect gasoline injections are merged, and this leads to bigger power and a higher torque with reduced fuel consumption. The Huracán’s top speed is 325 km/h, and it dashes 0 to 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Due to the new Stop & Start technology, the consumption has been reduced 12.5 liters per 100 km.

The Huracán has been upgraded with full electronically conducted four-wheel drive system and LDF, a dualclutch transmission with seven speeds. The driver can choose among the various driving models from a switch in the steering wheel. The dynamics system has 3 setups: STRADA, SPORT and CORSA. Each of them has a different function, but the three of them regulate the work of the gearbox and engine behavior, the four-wheel-drive system, the sound and the electronic stability control.

The Automobili Lamborghini with a headquarter in Sant’Agata Bolognese produce The Huracán. It is produced with a entirely new techniques and a completely renewed production line. The first customers of it can get their new vehicle starting from spring 2014.
