Revolutionizes mobility-the debut of the F 015 Luxury in Motion

We have all came across those articles that say that the cars are the most used means of transport, but Mercedes-Benz made the sedan F 015 Luxury in Motion seem like a personal retreat space. This thing offers luxury and comfort and a constant exchange of information between the people driving the vehicle and the vehicle itself. That’s why the F 015 Luxury in Motion will make its debut at this year’s International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

This car is the idea of Mercedes-Benz to make the new world that is constantly changing a better place to live. It is said that more than 20 years from now, there will be even more mega-cities in the world with more than 10 million inhabitants and they predict that the people will need some private space even more than they need now. Mercedes-Benz will start to produce autonomously driving cars that offer private space and time, and the F 015 Luxury in Motion is the first successful concept.

Mercedes-Benz is considered to be the first company to give ideas about autonomously driving cars and as a pioneer, it not only gives ideas about car production, it also realizes them, like the F 015 Luxury in Motion. People are always curious about new concepts and ideas, and Mercedes-Benz transformed personal mobility with its first self-driving car, that is supposed to be a great overturn in the whole automobile industry.

So, let’s be clear. We are talking about a futuristic car that has electrically changeable seating system which consists of four rotating chairs that can be arranged so that the passengers could be placed face to face too. They can enter and exit the vehicle easily because the seats can move to the outdoor by 30 degrees as the doors open. 

So, above, we mentioned that the passengers can exchange information with the vehicle, but they can also do that with the world outside the vehicle. This is possible thanks to the integrated display screens in the instrument, rear and side panels, and this changes the inside of the F 015 Luxury in Motion to look like a digital arena.

The people driving in the vehicle can communicate with it through gestures, mimicking, or simply by touching the displays with high resolution. The contact to the outside world can be made thanks to the integrated laser projection and LED displays.

It is interesting to see how far the technology went. The autonomous driving is now real, especially after the debut of the S 500 INTELLIGENT DRIVE in 2012, and it is expected that 50 years from now, these cars will become an inseparable part of every man’s life in his constant struggle with the changing way of life.
