The Dodge Viper Comes Back Stronger

The Viper was firstly shown at the 1989 Detroit Auto Show, and immediately the fans fell in love with this vehicle. The first Viper was sold in 1992, the Dodge Viper was called also the Viper RT/10. The customers had access to buy it and  to begin the year in January 1992. 

The new Viper has 640 hp and 813 Nm of maximum torque. This power comes from a 8.4-liter V10 engine that is matched to a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. Revs go up to 6,200 ppm, and fuel supply is interrupted if you exceed 6,400 rpm. Top speed is now 330km / h.SRT Viper is 4463 mm long, and width is 1941 mm, the wheelbase is 2509 mm and the curb weighs of 1453 kg.

How did the Viper improve?

It increased the speed and the interior to offer more for customers was the main goal. The engineers did a great job and when looking back they were surprised at the speed of the Dodge Viper GTS. Described by Gale as “Brutally fast”.

It rides on the 19-inch and 18-inch wheels on Pirelli tires, P355/30ZR19 rear and P295/30ZR18 front. Also, there it has a Brembo braking system with 355 x 32 mm discs.

This luxury giant will be able to provide the perfect mixture of extreme performance and fantastic feeling to drive the DNA Viper. The appearance has also evolved.

Back in 1996 when the second generation of the model was produced was The greatest inspiration to design this model. But was thoroughly improved, also the headlights were designed to look like the eyes of the snake, and the body to represent the body of a woman.

There are several colors included: Black, Gunmetal Pearl, Blue Pearl, Race Yellow, Shadow Blue Pearl, Adrenaline Red,  Bright White, Red and Stryker Viper GTS.

Aluminum is used for the doors and Ceilings, while the carbon fiber used in making roof and hoods. The chassis is now magnesium and is much more stronger. The interior is a combined of red and black leather that looks fabulous.
